I must disagree. It took me about 4 hrs to play through, and I enjoyed them. One good thing about this game is that if you want to collect all 30 stars, you can go back in levels and concentrate on the missing star’s mission, you’ll keep the stars you’ve already gained.
With 3-4 mines built, you get money rather rapidly, and can be very active in the game, which is necessary for some of the quests.
For a free game, this is good stuff.

quite dumb game since most of time player twiddles thumbs while waits mine(s) and castle to produce enuf gold to be able to build more buildings to get further on map, eventually player's land connects with opponent's land and by then player should have 2 barracks (where to send units against enemy's castle (automatically since otherwise game would be even worse), after match player gets upgrade points (upgrades are normal on these kind of games), nicish graphs and rest.

overall game suits better into idle-category than strategy since player gets so little money that not much can be done besides waiting to get money (and to make game even more idling mine-prices go up after every mine bought).
