Genre:Defense with Rpg Elements

Your mission in this hybrid defense and RPG game, with elements that twist the rules of classic TDs is to slay monsters from the deepest pits of Hells to the fields of Heavens, using over 40 spells. Ancient legends about women - the soldiers are described in many chronicles. But there is one legend about the tribe of the Amazon, which has been lost and no one knew until today. Here is a story about the leader of the Amazons who came to defense their people and land, which had tried to seize the son of the god of war Ares.

This game is flawed. It had some good points but in later levels the flaws really stick out

I can't stand bad TD's. There's just so many out there, and it makes ppl think ALL td's suck.

This is not worth playing.

I figured out the problem. the night wing spell takes the hero to another place within a short distance from the original place the hero was sited, it then has to be unselected for the hero to be able to fight again.

3/5 for a solid game but there are flaws as suggested by BDJ

I have played this elsewhere and won it with little trouble. not sure is bdj has a point with the nightwing spell as I haven't played this too long this time, but nay find time later to try again and see what the differences are between the last version and this one

points will appear later after a further investigation

Born of Fire is a rather original TD-style game where, instead of Towers, you place Heroes to protect your area. However, the number of Heroes is limited based upon your current progress through the game. You start with three Heroes, then four, then five up-to a maximum of seven Heroes.

The Heroes gain experience, level-up, and you can advance their skills or chose new skills.

One of the Hero-types can gain a skill called Nightwings, where he is supposed to be able to 'relocate' on the map to catch those invaders that have slipped by. Unfortunately, this skill is somewhat flaky and normally doesn't work.

With a limited number of 'towers' (Heroes)to protect an area, the game, is manageable during the early scenarios because the width of the enemy Travel Lanes is 'slim' and can be protected from both sides using two Heroes. However, the Intermediate and Advanced levels include Travel Lanes that are 'four' wide, and there is no way to fully protect them with the limited Hero number.

All in all, I found the game original, but too limiting and quite frustrating. Combined with the fact that Nightwings doesn't really work, the best I can give this game is;

Rate: 2/5
