Well, I like this type of game, there could be a better way of upgrading stats other than gaining stars. I do like the idea of gaining WP's to study/upgrade for ship.

Anyway, it seems I've encountered a bug, game wants to lock up and freeze on day 3, has happened a few times now. I give this game a 3/5.

Played for hours, can be boring if you don't like this tipe of game, and is meant to be a fairly long gameplay, but worth the time.
4/5

Quoting earth:
very nice ship game except it gets boring after liberating most towns since most of times player just destroys other ships and waits upgrade stars (those are given somewhat oddly), freeing towns requires bit luck at later part of game since enemies have better ships, besides destroying ships and freeing towns player can trade goods to get money, stars upgrade all ships and with warpoints player can research upgrades for individual ship (all ships have same upgrades) and buy those upgrades with gold (both wps and gold are given plenty especially after freeing most towns), few ships can be bought but soon player hits to roof until frees all towns and gets new ship and after getting that ship upgraded then can goto kill main enemy aka ghost ship, quite nice graphics and sounds and music.

overall very nice game but after a while it becomes boring since not much to do than grind to get upgrade stars (nowhere is said how those are gotten aka how many ships needs to be destroyed or how many trades needs to do to get star (apparently those are supposed to get enuf to upgrade everything)).

Upgrade stars are from accomplishing achievements. You can view your achievements and figure out which next will be easiest to get the next star.

Not a bad version of the genre.
Cannons are free, unless you use the power ups (x1.5 damage, or x3 damage.)
Most of the game will be spent hunting ships to get battle points to research with.
The order of the towns is not intuitive, although it mostly seems to follow the northern side of the map. You can do them out of order, as the 4th town is a pretty easy win, and from there you can simply farm ships until you are nearly ready for the endgame.
3/5. It's a fairly simple version, but well done for what it is.
