Genre: Strategy, TD

Paper Defense is a unique tower defense game in which you can expand your base by building walls. Prevent enemies from destroying your base by attaching turrets to the walls and sending out ground units to attack them. Each type of wall has an effect on the turrets that are built on them. Turrets on yellow walls gain more money per kill, turrets on brown walls deal more damage, and turrets on grey walls have longer range. Your walls and turrets can be upgraded when you have enough money.

An interesting take on the TD genre with the ability to build walls in random configurations.

However, the game doesn't have the finesse and polish of other games in this genre.

Nice idea, but the game needs improvement.

Quoting DMs choice:
Basically an interesting idea, with that wall-tower-combination. I would like to see that concept in a top-down (read: classical) TD game, in which you then can construct or extend a maze for the enemies with the provided walls. This would still need a basic wall and a speed wall ;-) (And maybe some further creative ideas for walls.)

there are some like that like creeper worlds.

This game here, well, works fine, but gets boring after a while.

The game isn't so cool as the idea of building your base makes it sound. There is only 1 map. Since the game is in side-scroller mode, there are only 2 real directions of attack.
The game isn't so hard, just unit selection and placement like most TD. However, there is nothing exciting beyond the wall concept... which this game showcases very poorly. Furthermore, there is a needless screen shake that makes selecting and upgrading units on the fly difficult, leading to pausing during later levels to select what you want to upgrade. That gets old fast.
2/5 imo.

same what fergus said, money is given too little vs enemies coming (base lost 20 health after 1st 4 waves so it was downhill after that), silly walls each having different bonus and mostly wall which increases range is usable, too limited building space (4 walls and each 3 towers). crappy graphics and sounds.

overall bad defend the base game due player has very slight chances to get far.

usual problems with tower defence games occur here... low money, low reward per kill, crap guns, crap units.

you start off ok but the enemy has a bit of a steep increase in numbers and your cash supply is not big enough or growing enough to upgrade your towers and produce units to help with defence.
