lots of wins and little losses on my side so not as hard as it could have been really.

3/5

This game is simple yet addicting. The difficulty curve a bit broken, and I found my hero to be NEARLY useless on both campaigns, but if you know how to use your brain, you will beat this game easily.

The first campaign is pie. Just spam any of the upper tier units and it's GG. Your hero is crap.

The second campaign is a bit tougher. Using any ground units is useless, as the enemy Trump units just kill them with their AOE. I beat this campaign simply by getting my mines up ASAP and spamming the flier units. Nothing but flier units.

Worth finishing, but needs work.

A high 3/5 stars.

The game was decent, but I couldn't get into it. Maybe someone else will find this more enjoyable than I did.

Well, it works fine for me. In fact it was too easy.
If you spam upgrade mines first, then facilities, then a few units mixed with the power plant... that seems to be the best strategy. Meanwhile, pick off a few units with the 'Hero'.
Please note that all guns are not equal. The mortar and hadron do rediculous damage to ground units, and are most likely the main cannons to use.
That being said, I spent all my points in other guns and still had no issues. I think the rail gun is stupidly underpowered... and I anything other than the mortar or bsg for Idatu.
The control tab will allow you to store units near your base (use fall back and hold position as needed.) Build up to full, and send them in. Follow with guns blazing.
The only units you will need:
Idatu: Basic unit. Trump. The flyer. At higher levels you will use lots of trumps with a few flyers. A few hoppers at higher levels helps kill any air units.
Tridalian: Build the second unit type. They don't waste time hopping around like the spy-guns do... and so the damage support you will get is higher. On the higher maps, spam Apolies. They do tons of damage, have high range, and will destroy anything in moments when in a big group. Send em in and win.
The achievements for the game are mostly silly. Fire 10k shots and kill 1k of unit type? Level 25? What a waste of time! You can complete the campaigns with level 5-6 of either hero. There's nothing new or special in repeat maps.
Overall, I give it a 2/5. It was too easy, had extremely poor balance, and so on... but at least it worked.

Thanks Ff for the suggestions, I had everything at max and still lost over 400 units in the first battle and my hero several times and half an hour later I lost the battle! ;)

Will try again now that I have upgraded hero's weapons.

Nice graphics and sfx. Good UI and control. AI need a little bit improvement. Need a bit of time for grinding.

I'm not an RTS fan.

Tridalian level 1 and 2 and Idatu level 1 were easy though.

Tridalian level 3 and 4 i found hard, level 5 was impossible at current hero level (9).

For unclear reasons it will not let me progress Idatu campaign beyond level 1.

Idatu pawn is very weak but also much cheaper and faster trained than first Tridalian unit.

Not rating as i'm biased against the genre.

quite crappy destroy enemy's base, all player needs to do is go shoot enemy's base with hero unit and stay away from enemy's units line of sight-area (not that hard), upgrading is mostly joke since only 1 upgrade point per level. nice but very tiny graphics and nice sounds, bit bad is that hero's weapon needs cooling down so if enemy's units is pummeling homebase then it might go close which base is destroyed 1st.

no idea how enemy can buy so many units (~12) with money given unless it has alot mines.
