I've played before this over at the main website (http://warlight.net/).

This is a really great variation of the classic board game Risk.

Top game!

5/5

a great strat game with only afew draw backs. mainly luck... at the end of battles i look at the stats and im always - luck and comps are always + luck, which is anoying...

europe map is sure hard but do-able, i got to "crazy" and its impossible, after afew quick defeats i saved/loaded so i didnt lose a battle for the first 10ish turns, managed to take about 1/5 of the world but then all the comps just ganged up on me... again the luck is very computer favoured, a stack 120 of mine lost badly against 70 of theirs... was down here from there.

but 5/5 for the gameplay because i can always do customs with luck off ;)

This is an excellent game which I struggle at but enjoy playing - I do find it quite frustrating to play and beat but it is still 5/5

Dude im so pissed at this stupid europe challenge map. how the hell do you beat it?

Blitzkrieg.

You have to move fast, and win all your early battles. Then you have to properly utilize the reinforcements they give you. The reinforcements system is a bit wonky, but you NEED to use it.

I did it by capturing Western Europe ASAP, then storming east. Gaining as much ground as possible as fast as possible.

Thanks a bunch man, finally got it. I had been trying to block off choke points and turtle up most areas while slowly expanding east. The computer always breaks back into spain/portugal to mess with me. If you're relentlessly pushing east like you said, it doesn't matter, it's not enough.
That said, seeing their 400+ stack moving at my completely undefended flank scared me, but in the end, I had too many reinforcements. Once you're dropping 60+ per turn, even a 400 stack goes down quickly.
Side note, due to my frustration, I waited around and crushed the 400 stack with a 2200 stack. LOL

I did the same thing at the end. ;-) Glad I could help.

i love this game! but i feel it needs a story line. or if any thing the different army's at least need a name. this game was great but if you make a second one then why not go all out and make it to along with picking a color for our army you can also pick one of a set of hero's. and after you pick the hero you go up agents the others (the enemy army)and after every few turns or so throw in some random chatter something like "sir the enemy army has broken through our front lines and taken our base' which could be followed by the commander of the enemy army commenting about it. or something along those lines. keep up the good work and just know you got your self a fan here!

not exactly the kind of game i like but still very well done and has a pretty good AI without making it too smart or too stupid which is always a plus in my book. 5/5 from me

I'd like to add that this game gets bonus points for re-playability.

I've played the game for a total of about 6hrs, only about halfway through the available missions, and still have the custom games to utilize.

There are many many MANY hours of content available here. GREAT GAME.
