Didn't really like this game. I found the move/shoot controls kinda wonky and confusing. This game is not for me.

Rate: 3/5

Quoting Ap Dafydd:
I never got the clown mask, how do you get it as the end scene is impossible!

Everything in this game can be seen on YouTube. They have walktrhoughs for every second of the game. The link I posted also has a lot of that info. Also, if you just Google something like "Clown mask madness retaliation", I'm sure something will come up. It's a very popular game with many sites dedicated to getting ppl everything available to find.

To navigate end maze...

FYI:Put the clown mask on one of your units. Equip him with very little hp/armor, a short range melee weapon, and make him hug the baddies. Use your splash attack guys (Assault unit with M-60) to kill him with friendly fire and the bad guys fall right over. This is the only efficient way to kill the nearly invincible baddies with monocles...

When you're standing in the room with the 2 demon heads, containing the signs that scroll the "Failure is unforgivable" text, here is how you get through the maze to the final boss fights...

Right, Right, Up, Up, Left, Down, Right, Left, Right, Left.

I'm not sure about this game. Having to retrace my steps so often is a pain paticularly when you keep meeting enemys you have dealt with many times before. Also even with the map (a bit too basic)trying to find your way about is not easy. It's certainly fun and experimenting with the various bits and pieces you find keeps the interest going,it just seems to me that there is something missing and I'm not sure what it is!! 3/5

Using the clown mask/kamikaze trick, the end fights are pie.

This is an amazing game. The only reason I can't give it a 5 is the extreme confusion the last area and last few fights cause.

You pretty much have to surf Google to figure out how to navigate your way to the end boss, then when you get there, the last few fights seem to have a trick to them, that I was unable to figure out.

The game itself is very well made and funny as hell, and if it didn't have that ending issue, I'd add it to my fav games in an instant.

There is a slight issue with tedium due to having to backtrack so much, and somewhere around the middle of the game, just winning fights is a chore. Also, the map could be more helpful with letting you know where unexplored areas are and where elevators are.

4/5 stars
