Nostalgic dungeon crawler that perhaps would work better on a smaller screen or another environment with... ...how would I put this... ...less opportunities, that wouldn't make this game feel so limited. If this were available on an old mobile phone with no touch screen but only number keys for controls, this would have been fun.

Controls aren't that difficult once you get used to them: on the top you see the map, at the bottom the surroundings. Arrows to move around, space to pick up items and 1/2 to use the item in that slot. Ghosts steal items, healing lanterns wake up sleeping monsters, lightning smites down surrounding foes, fireballs work in the direction you're facing, map is necessary on lower dungeon levels. Besides keys and jewels, collect treasure chests and onions, level up to gain more hit points. My interest lasted until dungeon level 5, where I finally gave up. Whatever mysteries lie beneath, will remain undiscovered.

8 bit graphics is fine by me I coded in 8 bit graphics long long ago :)

the wrong is of course the game by todays standards. a dungeon crawler is fine but using what is effectively two screen focus for the movement is a bit naff. I played once and that was more than enough nostalgia for me. I am afraid the points are not in the same category.

So I've played one level and that's about all I'm going to manage. The controls are not quite as intuitive as you might think, but you do get the hang of them in the end.

However, the biggest turn off for me is the 8 bit graphics - I am not a fan!

One play was enough!

not much of rpg instead normal dungeon crawler with 8bit graphics and rest, controls take time to get used to, alot enemies and some are nasty and either steal something from inventory or dumbfound char which makes mapping pointless (no idea how it gets cured), levels are big so finding key to next level is like trying to find needle in haystack.

overall decent game which entertains couple mins or longer.
