Quoting harrier0:
Enjoyed the first of these adventures and this one is much the same, which is a little bit of a shame as I expected more. Still enjoyable though.3/5

I think what we have here is an extension to the first just that the next chapter doesn't seem to have been completed yet. pity really.

I didn't have a problem with hakkar, I just had to keep turnin him into a sheep, finished the game at level 16, don't really see the need to grind any levels to use some of these items though. all in all I thought it was a good game. by the by, after you go through the portal and the credits roll go back and load your game, it takes you to a challenge level.

The stranglethorn area is a nice challenge. I enjoyed fighting against all the opponents as a 14-15 range character! (Note, everything so far is doable... only hakkar remains and that's simply a matter of setup, this is at just barely into level 15).
If you are having trouble, you probably need to look for end tree talents that you want. The last couple of arena fights needed my 15 talents. The game plays out well... but the level requirements on gear from endgame stranglethorn is a little higher than I would like at the moment (the only thing left is grinding levels to use it)... and I don't really feel like grinding at this point. Still, 4/5 for a very well balanced stranglethorn area that is truely worth playing.

Same problem as the first version of this. A side scrolling RPG is just weird and constricting. It is the definition of being "On a rail" which is typically a bad thing.

The WoW menu system is great, but nearly every other thing about this game is meidocre.

It's certainly not bad, it's just low rent mediocrity.

3/5 stars

P.S.: The first episode of this game was even lower quality, and is one of the highest rated RPG's on this site. Boooo?

every time you enter a new screen from the old screen in areas like the forest, you have a chance of a new enemy to fight so moving from one screen to another in any direction will give you a chance to gain levels quicker than just trying to move through the area looking for enemies.

I do hope this makes sense :D

the controls may be keyboard and the play a little slow for some but it is a good game for all that.

you should also be able to move using the arrow keys :-)
