Customize and create your own spells, defeat your foes in strategic turn-based combat, discover many different enemies, random runes, unique creatures and 25 floors of procedurally-generated dungeons. A turn-based RPG that focuses on magic spells and runes.

This game actually plays reasonably well once you get the idea of what you need to do.

The graphics are fair (I'm not a big fan of the 8-bit stuff) and the sounds and music suit the game. Clearly quite a bit of thought and effort have gone into the game and the play. Is it too complicated? Give it a go and you decide.

I'd rank it about par.

nice retroish semi-rpg otherwise but enemies either have high health or they deal high damage, creating new spells etc (requires runes which are found is bit complicated since no exact idea what outcome will do, leveling up is weird since there are no indicator how far next level up is and upgrade points aren't given much either, attacking is simple (mostly), nice 8bit graphics and same applies to sounds and music.

overall nice game but few things are hidden from view and upgrading/creating new attacks is crappy and there are too many "supermonsters" which need to be killed with special attack (and if uses it too much w/o resti between then it has nice side effect).

how complicated can a game be??? try this one and you may find you are trying to do so many other things that you lose the enjoyment factor of playing any game.

it plays but there are so many high hp enemies and you have so little in attack power to make this almost unplayable.
