Why, oh why was this sequel needed..? The only enjoyment was that you didn't have to start from zero but had some equipment and stats to begin with, having played through the previous series. Apart from that, nothing really new...

Compared with the original, the gameplay is better. I.e. as a re-release or a version update this does serve the purpose. Other than that, well... 2/5

This is a perfectly standard RPG genre game. Everything is reasonably well done, not too good and not too poor. It's all just kind of average really.

You'll find better and you'll find worse.

To be honest, this is getting tedious. In the beginning, this Arkandian Legend games were still quite interesting and innovative, but with the third part, they're burning out. It's nothing new anymore, except for some small gameplay improvements. Even the uncreative backstory feels like a meager apology for throwing ever more dungeons at the player. Furthermore, he creators filled these games with various stuff to do wich seemingly don't really contribute to the point. What does the game actually want to be? A dungeoncrawl RPG? A tactical strategy game? A Minecraft rip-off?
Don't get me wrong, it's not really a bad game, though the franchise has probably seen its days. They aren't yet beating a dead horse, but the mare doesn't feel all too well, either.

3/5 stars still

played this elsewhere and it is nice up to a point but has the same old same old in the characters, enemies and how things happen.

lets just say it is average with no new things or real worth in it from the rest of the series

nice rpg except gets boring eventually since not much different things to do and battles are similar, money is somewhat scarce and plentry of moneyholes and 1 of those is dungeon exploring, nicish graphics with ok sounds and nice music.

overall nice rpg but gets boring, no healing between battles (player needs to buy health potions and each potions takes 1 slot and space is limited )can be increased but it'll take a while) so more potions less loot can carry), to hit chance is pure crap.
